Greetings!
Over the last few weeks I have been toying with the idea of creating a community forum to discuss our collective hobby, cartography and the related arts. Well I've gone through with it and created one. Feel free to join! I will be sharing resources, and, if there is enough interest, some step by step tutorials on how I do things. New idea I'm trying out - small payment commissions for maps and other related artwork. As the title states the work will go for between five and twenty dollars, depending on the difficulty and time spent.

For those of you follow the Strangemaps (http://strangemaps.wordpress.com) blog, you may be aware that he was working on publishing a book of his strange maps.
It is out now for preorder at places like Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Strange-Maps-Atlas-Cartographic-Curiosities/dp/0142005258/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1249667351&sr=8-1). Yours truly was even involved in making one of his maps. So why not go preorder one? Or three?

Hello alt reality, I made some time ago a map of how american maybe would have looked if the CSA had won in Settling accounts, the main problem is that I'm not all that good with maps, so can you make a better version of it for me?
