Though I do find it interesting that you put more thought into West Virginia. Those three panhandle counties between VA and MD were only part of WV because they were occupied by the Army. So, presumably, they're Virginia now because they weren't.
I love that there's still a united Central America, and I'm curious about the blue-outlined Mexican chunks. US protectorates?
Also, I choose to interpret that blurring of borders where the C in DC hits the MD-DE line as "Maryland got Delaware somehow."
In this timeline with Airships regularly crossing Altantic Ocean. The 2 bases in NS make sence if for no other reason as fuel and repair stops. The weather would likely play into the need as well. Airships don't fly at 30,000 meters. IMHO.
