Good map :) Even if I don't like seeing Lithuania split among three countries... :( :D

Does the picture in the upper right represent a particular city, or is it a generic depiction of the prevailing urban architectural style?

Both - it's both a representation and a small view of the city of Frankfurt.

'Frankfurt Commune,' eh? How did Frankfurt become its own independent city-state, if I may so ask?

Seems that the Germany/Prussia of this ATL lost whatever equivalent of the Franco-Prussian War occurred (if at all) to France...would that be right?

And where exactly is Geneva in this ATL? It seems to be sandwiched between Switzerland and France, but I can't really tell who it's supposed to belong to.

Where can I read Texaverse? I just want to know how France gets such a large chunk of Germany?!!

Well, as of yet it's not really a complete, written timeline - it's just basically a collection of thoughts and other maps/images over at [link] .

Regarding F.C.: after Prussia lost the equivalent of the Franco-German war in this timeline, the "communards" took control of the city of Frankfurt am Mein, setting up a commune in the city and surrounding country side. For the time begin France left it alone, while Prussia fell into itself for a period, finally forming the GFR.

Geneva is where it is OTL - it may just have gotten nudged somehow on the map.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. Nice to see someone putting in some new city-states compared to OTL. We need more of 'em if I do say so myself...

And another question: What exactly happened with Italy, more specifically, Venice? Did the Repubblica di San Marco attempt succeed in this TL and expand somehow?
